Nightshades Market 7-30-07

We plant sunflowers to attract birds that eat tomato horn worms. They also attract beneficial insects like bees, lacewings, and ladybugs.

The Nightshade family includes Tomatoes, Peppers, Eggplant and Potatoes

My partner Todd took the photo of the sunflower and purple bell pepper.

As summer settles in so do the Heirloom Tomatoes. Demand is high, and supplies are limited. Get on the list by emailing leasmicromarket@gmail.com I will contact you as they become available.
